I've liked Patrick Chan ever since I saw him live at Canadian Nationals in Vancouver dethrone Jeff Buttle as Cdn. champ a few years back with a beautiful Free Skate. He also appears to be a nice & decent enough fellow, which is why I find the comments about his supposed "attitude" puzzling.



Okay, he's not yummy cute like talented & beautiful American Allissa Cizsny with her sublime spins that make one go "wow" - but hey, that's beside the point!



Way to go Patrick!





The too high score is not good for him.

oda was SUPERIOR to this. this patrick chan guy shouldn't even medal at all. short program was horrible and long program was only slightly (SLIGHTLY) better...........





Jumps, jumps, jumps, jumps, and when you think you've heard it enough, you hear it again. Jumps, jumps, jumps. Do most of you commenting here seriously think that jumping is the only way to win? Chan racks up points, not because the judges love him, but because he actually follows the criterias in every compenent mark, spins and steps. And his jumps in this program are not bad at all... Figure skating is about rewarding the complete skater, not the jumping beans!!!





At least someone other than me realizes that...





I love how everyone here thinks they're such an expert on skating while, in truth, they know next to nothing
